Reiss & Goodness Employees

The staff of Reiss & Goodness includes Engineers, Engineering Technicians, Land Surveyors, Landscape Architects and all necessary support staff of clerical, drafting and construction inspection.

The primary objective of the company is to provide the client with the most cost effective and economical solutions and let the client be the guiding hand for directives.

Facility Plans prepared for the client will emphasize the most economical and compatible solution for the sanitary sewer system whether it is a gravity or pressure system; an extension to the existing system; or modification to the existing treatment facility. We have been in the forefront of innovative design in sanitary sewer systems in the State of Kansas designing the only pressure systems in operation.

Water projects include the design of water treatment plants, water distribution systems, supply/transmission lines, water sources, telemetry and water storage for municipalities, rural water districts, and industrial and commercial water supplies and piping.

Transportation projects involve not only street design but storm sewer and drainage studies as well.

A total of 65 natural gas systems have been designed as well as extensions to existing systems. Systems have been designed for cities in Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.

Complete platting and landscape design is another feature which the company offers. Applications for municipalities have been submitted to the Kansas Department of Parks for recreational facilities.

Construction Surveying for all of the above types of projects can be provided by the firm. We also provide boundary and residential surveying for municipal and private concerns.

We offer communities assistance in finding funding on local, state and federal levels. Our staff is knowledgeable in Rural Development, Department of Commerce & Housing-Small Cities Community Development Block Grant and/or Economic Development and State Revolving (EPA) Applications. We endeavor to meet the needs of the community or client in obtaining the financial assistance for the specific projects. Full service is provided to all clients in helping on the financial segment of the proposed work as well as design and construction review and management if the client so desires.
